While basic conversion tracking is appropriate for most clients, those who have managed e-commerce accounts know that tracking total conversions is only a piece of the puzzle. Tracking revenue within AdWords and Analytics allows advertisers to identify which products, campaigns, ad groups, and most importantly, keywords are truly providing the best returns. This post will walk you through revenue tracking installation for both AdWords and Analytics.
Before Google’s recent algorithm updates, link building had been pretty simple. Spam a little here, spin an article there, and voila, you had hundreds of links to help increase your search presence.
But Google isn’t stupid. In 2012 alone, they made 37 updates to their algorithm and began penalizing anyone they found violating their policies. So in light of these changes, the question for link building is easy: how are we supposed to get links without getting in trouble?
The time has come, Google said,
to talk of many changes:
of the end of a desktop and mobile divide -
of campaigns catching up with the ages.
In any industry, a successful company would not have one person managing their finances, human resources, legal, marketing, operations and sales. That individual may have a surface understanding of their many responsibilities, but they’re unlikely to excel at any one in particular. If they do, there’s no question that they could be even better at it.
The same analogy can be used in your approach to marketing, especially digital – it’s an ever-changing industry, with new features coming out everyday. A single digital marketer may understand the bare bones of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Social Media, E-mail Marketing, etc., but they typically won’t know the tactical ins-and-outs of every field.
LONDON, ON (April 4, 2013) – Venture London honoured ATMOS Marketing with its top prize in the Existing Business Category at its 5th annual Venture London Business Competition. Over 300 people attended yesterday’s event at the Best Western Lamplighter Inn to witness six local companies compete for a pair of prizes.
Venture London was co-founded in 2008 by the London Economic Development Corporation (LEDC), Small Business Centre, The Stiller Centre and TechAlliance. The four-month, two-round business competition was created to encourage and support new London-based businesses. With the help of workshops and feedback from industry leaders, participants learn how to shape their business ideas into solid business plans.
As the winner, ATMOS received the grand prize of $25,000 in cash and business acceleration prizes. This grant will be used to help hire new staff and accelerate the already exciting growth of the company.
The Digital World has evolved to become increasingly more visual. Just look at Digg.com, one of the most popular content aggregator websites out there. Comparing old Digg vs. new Digg, you can see how new generations are consuming media in a more visual way. Even Facebook’s new Timeline should be a good indicator of this transformation.
If you are anything like me when it comes to designing a website, the first thing you think of is “how can I use this to generate sales leads?” In order to help make this thought-process a little more stream-lined, I came up with the 10 most important things you can do to increase leads from your website. By no means do I consider this list to be exhaustive, so if you have any extra tips you can think of, please share with a comment.
After doing some searching around, I noticed a lack of quality resources for online real estate marketing. All I could find are sites that want your email for their ‘super secret real estate tip that will make you millions without doing anything’, or an outdated site that’s still going on about ‘this new thing called YouTube’. Being an internet marketing professional who performs real estate marketing services on a daily basis, I felt it necessary to share some ideas that have worked for my clients in the recent past.
