Let's Go Lightning!
As one of the most successful and exciting basketball teams in the NBL, the London Lightning is always striving to be the best in every arena of their franchise. One of the areas they wanted to improve upon was online fan engagement and increasing brand awareness.
With an existing website built on a restrictive platform, London Lightning and ATMOS partnered to develop the GoLightning.ca microsite, which serves as the main backdrop for all digital marketing efforts.
The GoLightning microsite is part of a greater marketing strategy that includes social media and graphic design support for the #GetStruck Tweet of the Night campaign, an ongoing Fan of the Month contest on Facebook and a fan-driven photo booth at every basketball game.
The site was created with the goals of driving season's ticket purchases, newsletter signups and overall fan fervour - and it has been resoundingly successful.
Our in-game ATMOS Fan Zone has given us the opportunity to further connect with our ticket holders and has heightened the game experience for our fans.
